Revision Hip Replacement

A hip revision (also known as a “revision hip replacement”) is an operation on a Hip joint which has been previously replaced . This reoperation may involve a partial or a complete exchange of the prosthesis that was implanted during the original surgery. Revision hip surgery is done for many reasons including infection , loossening of previous implant , completion of life of previous implant , fracture around previous implant etc. 

Revision hip replacemetn surgery is a more complicated and exhausting surgery. It requires more complex instrumentation along with infection control measures and better patient care.
